پرده بکارت یا Hymen پرده غشایی است که دهانه واژن را می پوشاند. این لغت واژه یونانی است و از نام الهه ازدواج گرفته شده.

در مرحله ابتدایی جنینی به طور کلی هیچ بخش ورودی به واژن وجود ندارد ولی در مراحل بعدی تکامل جنین، پرده بکارت ایجاد می‌شود. بسیاری تصور می‌کنند که پرده بکارت داخل واژن قرار گرفته در صورتیکه اینطور نیست و پرده بکارت در ابتدای واژن و ورودی دهانه واژن قرار دارد.

انواع پرده بکارت

پرده حلقوی

این پرده به صورت حلقوی دور ورودی واژن قرار دارد و معمولاً با نزدیکی دچار پارگی و خونریزی خواهد شد.

پرده ارتجاعی

این نوع پرده قابلیت انعطاف پذیری و ارتجاعی دارد و با ورود آلت تناسلی مرد پاره نمی شود و یا جزئی پاره می شود و هیچ خونریزی ندارد.

پرده دو سوراخی

پرده ای که با یک تیغه در طول ورودی واژن قرار دارد. در این گونه پرده ها بهتر است تیغه توسط پزشک متخصص زنان جراحی و برداشته شود تا فرد با نزدیکی دچار پارگی و خونریزی شدید نشود.

پرده غربالی یا چند سوراخی

پرده به طور کامل در عرض واژن کشیده شده و سطح آن سوراخ های متعدد دارد. این نوع پرده با اولین نزدیکی دچار پارگی و خونریزی شدید میگردد. این نوع پرده بکارت نیز باید قبل از اولین نزدیکی توسط متخصص زنان جراحی شود تا با نزدیکی دچار پارگی و خونریزی شدید نشود.

پرده بکارت حلقوی با منفذ بسیار کوچک

در زنان با این گونه پرده ها در هنگام اولین نزدیکی دچار پارگی شدید و خونریزی های شدید می‌شوند که بیمار را راهی بیمارستان می کند و پزشک متخصص زنان باید در اتاق عمل پارگی را ترمیم و هموستاز را برقرار کند.
