Iran, Luxembourg can cooperate in energy sphere
Rouhani: Iran can meet European energy needs
President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that there is an abundant opportunity for investment in the Iranian energy sector, noting Iran can fulfill a part of Europe's energy needs. During a meeting with Luxembourgish Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn in Tehran, Rouhani also said
Iran can link Europe to the Indian Ocean and East Asia through a transit route.
He also said that Iran and Luxembourg have good relations and highlighted the importance of
expanding banking ties.
"Today, banking and insurance issues are the main key in economic cooperation and the two
countries' cooperation in these spheres can be a very good basis to boost economic relations",
the president explained.
Rouhani also called for expansion of scientific and cultural cooperation between Iran and Luxembourg. He also praised the nuclear agreement between Iran and great powers as a win- win game which has laid the ground for expanding cooperation.
The July 2015 nuclear agreement, officially called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, was signed between Iran and the 5 1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany). It went into effect in January 2016.
Rouhani said Iran will abide by the agreement as long as the other sides fulfill their commitments. Asselborn said his country attach importance to Iran's status in helping settle the crises in the Middle East. He also said that Luxembourg is determined to expand relations with Iran.

همکاری های ایران و لوکزامبورگ در حوزه انرژی
روحانی:ایران قادر به تامین نیازهای انرژی اروپا است.
روز سه شنبه، حسن روحانی، ریاست جمهوری ایران،ضمن اشاره به توان ایران در تامین بخشی ازنیازهای انرژی اروپا ،اعلام کرد که فرصت های بسیاری برای سرمایه گذاری در حوزه انرژی ایران وجود دارد. روحانی طی نشست خود در تهران با ژان اسلبورن ،وزیر امور خارجه لوکزامبورگ، بیان کرد: ایران قادر است تا اروپا را از طریق مسیر ترانزیتی به اقیانوس هند و آسیای شرقی مرتبط سازد.
وی ضمن اذعان به روابط موفق میان ایران و لوکزامبورگ ، بر اهمیت گسترش روابط بانکی ،تاکید نمود.
وی توضیح داد :اکنون که امور بیمه ومعاملات بانکی ،مساله اصلی در همکاری های اقتصادی محسوب می شود،همکاری های این دو کشور در این حوزه ها میتواند مبنای خوب و مناسبی در گسترش روابط اقتصادی باشد.
روحانی هم چنین خواستار گسترش همکاری های علمی و فرهنگی میان ایران و لوکزامبورگ است. وی هم چنین ، توافقات هسته ای میان ایران و ابر قدرت ها را معامله ای برد برد ارزیابی کرد که می تواند زمینه ساز گسترش همکاری ها باشد.

1+5) پنج عضو دائم شورای امنیت سازمان ملل متحد به انضمام آلمان (به امضا رسید و در ژانویه 2016 مصداق پیدا کرد.
روحانی اظهار داشت : تا زمانی که طرف های دیگر ، پایبند به تعهدات خود باشند ، ایران نیز به توافقات خود جامه عمل خواهد پوشاند. اسلبورن بیان کرد : کشورش برای نقش ایران در یاری بخشیدن برای رفع بحران های موجود در خاورمیانه ، اهمیت بسیاری قائل است. وی هم چنین اظهار داشت : لوکزامبورگ تصمیم دارد ، روابط خود با ایران را گسترش دهد.
