The True King
The king of Iran had heard that Birbal was one of the wisest men in the East and desirous of meeting him sent him an invitation to visit his country.
In due course,Birbal arrived in Iran.
When he entered the palace he was flabbergasted to find not one but six kings steated there.All looked alike.All were dressed in kingly robes.Who was the real king ?
The very next moment he got his answer.
Confidently ,he approached the king and bowed to him.
“But how did you indentify me?”the king asked,puzzled.
Birbal smiled and explained:”The false kings were all looking at you,while you yourself looked straight ahead.Even in regal robes,the common people will always look to their king for support.”
Overjoyed,the king embraced Birbal and showered him with gift

پادشاه ایران شنیده بود که بیربال یکی از فرزانه ترین مردان شرق است و علاقمند بود که او راببیند،برایش دعوت نامه ای ارسال کرد تابرای ملاقات به کشورش بیاید.
در زمان موعود، بیربال وارد ایران شد، وقتی وارد قصر حکومتی شد در کمال تعجب دید که بجای یک پادشاه، شش نفر آنجا نشسته اند،همه شبیه به هم بودند و همه ملبس به لباس شاهانه.
چه کسی پادشاه واقعی بود؟ لحظه ای بعد او جواب را پیدا کرد.با اطمینان به شاه نزدیک شد و در برابر او تعظیم کرد.
“اما چگونه مرا شناسایی کردی؟”پادشاه با تعجب پرسید.
بیربال لبخندی زد و توضیح داد:پادشاهان دروغین به شما نگاه می کردند در حالیکه شما مستقیم به جلو نگاه میکردید،”مردم عادی حتی با لباس سلطنتی، همیشه به پادشاه خود بعنوان پشتیبان نگاه میکنند.”
پادشاه بیربال را در آغوش گرفت و هدایایی به او داد.?
